CitroTalks – My step by step: how to become a coordinator opened my horizons (and not just for exportation!)

My name is Vanessa Gabini, I’m 32 years old and I’ve been part of Citróleo Group for 10 years! I started my activities as an intern, while studying Business Administration, and, by being part of this team, I really got to know what it was like to run a company.

After this experience and with a bit of curiosity, I was slowly wanting to know how the export sector worked, because my eyes shone knowing that the products we manufacture are shipped all over the world. I had the opportunity to join the commercial department and with that our Manager, Flávia, brought me to the team, where I started as an assistant, then an analyst and today I am working as a Sales and Export Coordinator.

In order to improve my knowledge and contribute to the company’s growth, I took a postgraduate course in Business Management and International Business. Today, as Sales Coordinator, together with the team, I plan actions and strategies, always ensuring excellence in serving our customers and meeting the expectations of each one of them.

As a coordinator, I face daily challenges mainly because I work with different profiles of people, which requires a special way of treating each person, there are also external factors that we have at all times, even more so with the current scenario, an example is the difficulty in obtaining flights for a accumulation of cargo at airports.

I hope that I still build and continue to increase/elevate my career at Citróleo Group and contribute more and more to the growth of the company and that I can transmit to the people who work with me knowledge that adds to the career of each one of them.

Today I can say that I exceeded my expectations to get here and all this was only possible because of the opportunities that Citróleo Group gave me.
