Eloa’s mother, who is only 5 months old, I can say that I am the most accomplished person in the world.
This year, amidst the pandemic and with that belly of 7 months of pregnancy, I was invited to take over the innovation and business area of the Citroleo Group. A very strong motivation to continue giving my best to the company and the team.
With 16 years of experience in the company, a trajectory of many struggles and achievements with the group, I have worked in several departments of the company, from HR, finance, commercial and marketing area, and today one more challenge of leading a team of experts in development and solutions for the market.
But as everyone knows, work and motherhood are two paths that don’t always meet. It is very difficult for women to return to the job market after becoming mothers. We have to face the new routine, the sleepless nights, the fear and responsibility that increases within the family, in addition to prejudgement.
And when it’s time to return, comes the pain of separation, guilt and a sense of abandonment. So many moments together with the baby as one being, that the pain of separation almost shifts from the emotional to the physical.
On the other hand, I love my job and the moments I live in there. The return to work allowed me to see myself again as a woman and apply there, one more experience of life.
However, it is necessary to adapt again to the new routine, and it is important to be aware that, like any adaptation, it is a delicate time. But when we work at a company that values its employees, this whole process becomes easier.
So, I can say that I am several women in one. All of them grateful for these moments and experiences, and being part of the Citróleo Group, made all the difference in the trajectory of my life.
