Hello everyone who wants to know a little more about my story, welcome!
It was in the midst of a pandemic situation and full of plans for 2020 that my dreams went down the drain. Having just arrived from an exchange of almost two years in Australia, I had plans to go to Spain to study gastronomy and consolidate it with my first graduation, which was in Nutrition.
But, as well as for many people who had to change plans due to the coronavirus pandemic, so have I.
And that was when Citróleo Group gave me the opportunity to face new challenges and embark on this beautiful journey together with them, offering me a job as a marketing assistant at the entire Group. I confess that initially I was a little scared and afraid to accept the offer of a job in an area totally different from the one I had chosen for my future and all that was going on in my head was just: and now, what should I do?
Today, just over a year on the team, I am extremely grateful and happy for the opportunity and for all the people who welcomed me, taught me and continue to add to my life and career on a daily basis. Guys, seriously! Citróleo Group is made up of incredibly sensational people, each with their own personality, skills and values.
And now, being close to the team, I understand why the Group has been so successful and continuously growing.
I’ve been falling in love a little bit at a time with this new career, which is both fun and challenging, and that’s how I try to add and contribute to the development of the Citróleo Group.
Finally, I would like to thank everyone who encouraged me and gave me this opportunity to grow and acquire new knowledge in areas that I never imagined I would find myself.
And if I can say something to you who happen to find yourself in a situation similar to mine: you should face the challenges that life offers you, because sometimes you can be surprised in different ways.
